28 Weeks!

Another good weekly report . . . no changes. As of last Friday (5/22), I am now 28 weeks! Good news is that the baby is growing at a healthy pace. The little one now weighs a whopping 3 lbs! They said that is the normal weight of someone that is 30 weeks, so hopefully this is just a growth spurt and the weight will even out. Bill of course was excited to hear the baby is big, I of course reminded him that it wasn't coming out of his body, but mine :)

Weekly Report

Our ultrasound this morning did not show any negative changes. The heart seems to be shifting a little more towards the center, which is great. Hopefully we continue to see this kind of progress. All in all, a good weekly report. As Dr. Hill said, "We are happy with a dull and boring appointment" :)

Positive Trend Continues

We had our weekly doctor's appointment this morning, and no changes to report. No sign of hydrops/fluid. The baby is now 2 lbs. 3 oz. :)

Laughter is good medicine

Aunt Carol sent this to me . . . and it was too funny not to share. With all the high tech testing and ultrasounds we've been getting, I'm surprised we haven't been asked this yet.

All is going well this week. I'm excited to be heading to Wisconsin for my baby shower. We have our next doctor appointment Monday morning. I'll let ya'll know how it goes.

New Baby Pics!

As you can see, the baby already has some of Bill's bad habits (nose picking). Just kidding Daddy! These pictures are so amazing.

There was one point the baby was sticking out its tounge. I think it was sticking it out at us saying, "Ha ha, made you go to Philadelphia."

The baby now weighs 1 lb 13 ounces.

Based on all the measurements, the size of the mass is now 1.02. So, if you've been following along, that is smaller than the previous 1.6 measurement.

They reminded us that 1.02 is still a big mass, but we were pleased with the fact that it is smaller, and the chances of hydrops (fluid) developing is less. We have an appointment with our regular OB tomorrow morning, followed by an appointment with Dr. Hill and Dr. Baron. Well, who do you think the baby looks like?

We are happy with today's results. We are coming home! Dr. Hill will continue to monitor us weekly in Sarasota. We will come back in 7 weeks (as long as there are no changes for the worse, then it would be sooner). At that time they will be able to tell if the baby will be born with breathing problems or not. If yes, then I will deliver in PA. If not, then I will deliver in FL and bring the baby to PA around one month old to have the lung mass removed. Sooooo, keep praying for our little one. The next 3 weeks could still bring changes.

I can't wait to post the 3D pictures we got today. They are awesome. Made me cry!
