On Wednesday Adelyn met with her cardiologist and had an echo and EKG. She still has a PFO (hole in her heart), a slight murmur and a small PDA. None of these things are a concern to the doctor right now. They aren't causing any problems and they don't suspect that they will. She will go back in 6 months for another echo and EKG. She weighed in at 8 lbs. 3 oz. She is growing like a weed!!

Also this past week she developed reflux. Not fun for her or us for that matter! The pediatrician told us that it is very common for babies to develop reflux between 2 and 3 months of age. We are trying a few different things that he recommended to see if it helps.

As you can see she's getting cuter and cuter . . .

Adelyn had her pediatrician appointment this morning . . . she is 7 lbs. 15 oz. and 20.9" long. She's doing great! She did well with the vaccines, better than I expected. I didn't do too bad either :)

It's amazing to think that today was my due date and Adelyn is 9 weeks old! She has her next doctor appointment on Wednesday and will get her first vaccinations. I think I may cry more than her when the needle goes in.

It's been awhile since my last post, I guess motherhood is catching up to me :) Adelyn is doing great. It's still amazing to us that she is here. Sometimes I stop and think, "I should still be pregnant right now!"

Adelyn had a great visit with Noni and Popi this weekend. We are all doing great. I have to continually pry Adelyn out of Daddy's arms. He just can't get enough of her :)
