We all had a great weekend! There is talk of Adelyn possibly coming home within the next week! Of course this will all depend on her progress with her bottle feeds. She's doing great, but not real consistent. She also can't go home until she's gone 5 - 7 days without having a "brady." A brady is when she stops breathing and her heart rate drops below 80. She had one last night during a bottle feed. Since they have been trying a bottle for every feed, she gets tired more easily, and that increases her chances of having a brady. So, it's tough to find a happy medium. We want her to eat more out of a bottle so she can go home, but we don't want her to work too hard and have a brady. At any rate, she will be re-evaluated tomorrow to determine a possible discharge date. Keep us in your prayers! We are soooo ready for her to be home with us!
